“Over half my life ago, when I was 21 years old, I found myself in Groningen as an exchange student. Within two weeks time, I met the love of my life who participated in the welcoming committee for international students. It was as if I came to meet *him* and he was expecting *me* the way we quickly fell in love and stayed together all of these years. This picture symbolizes for me (us) how romantic that first year was, getting to know each other and the northern part of the country during many long, misty walks.
